STATS

Creating a stunt like the #LapseOfReason takes time, effort, and commitment. But with limited funds its mainly goodwill and good humour which gets the result at the end of the day.

Though the weather gods were against us, everyone involved was glad they'd taken part. We wanted to send the Council a message, and that we did, loud and clear!

14 beds

We wanted 15 beds, but life doesn't always go to plan...

We ordered 15 beds, but only 14 got delivered. By the time the straggler arrived, it was too late, the stunt was done!

18 people

Gave up their Sunday morning lie-in ...

To recreate the classic Pink Floyd album cover. Absolutely brilliant! And because we were so time - efficient we nipped out before the car park charges kicked in (sorry Lucie & Paul)

82 hours

For the bed build, Photo shoot, and beds dismantling...

Anyone who's had to put together flat pack furniture knows how fiddly it is. Once we got into our stride it was fine - taking them apart was a doddle in comparison.Down on the beach the wind made everything much harder than we'd have liked. But everyone just got on with it. Epic.
